二, other countries:

In the following countries, the cotton production volume is not high, and the amount of cotton imported by China from the following countries is relatively small.

The southernmost part of Central Asia, the second largest cotton producing country in Central Asia, has 4/5 of Karakum Desert, 80% of its land area has no surface runoff, and produces 450,000 tons of cotton annually. The foundation of cotton textile industry is weak. export country.

2. Tajikistan.

Of the 4 million hectares of agricultural land, 800,000 hectares of agricultural arable land, of which 40% are cotton fields. Tajikistan is the third largest cotton-producing country in Central Asia. It produces about 300,000 tons of lint annually and produces high-quality fine-fiber cotton. In the early 1990s, the lint yield in Tajikistan exceeded 100 kg/mu, an important raw cotton exporter. In the next five to ten years, both cotton output and foreign trade will basically stabilize at the current level.

3, Kazakhstan.

In 2004, the area of cotton fields in Kazakhstan was 219,300 hectares, equivalent to 3.289 million mu, and the annual output of lint was about 150,000 tons. It is expected that in the next 5 to 10 years, the cotton production and demand in Kazakhstan will maintain a steady growth at the current speed.

4, Kyrgyzstan.

In Kyrgyzstan, about 80,000 tons of lint annually are produced, but in the trade of cotton and cotton textiles, Kyrgyzstan and China have not yet formed regular large-scale trade.

5, Azerbaijan.

In 2005, the output of seed cotton was nearly 200,000 tons. It is expected that the output of lint cotton will reach 6 to 65,000 tons.

6, Turkey.

Turkish cotton producing areas are located on the west coast, along the southern coast to the northeast, where the elevation is lower. The cotton yield is high and the quality is good.

7, Iran.

The area of cotton in the Iranian plateau is small, mainly in northern Iran and southern Afghanistan. It mainly produces short-term and medium-fiber types of land cotton in the Americas.

8, Syrian cotton.

Aleppo is an important cotton-producing area in Syria. There are more than 30,000 hectares of cotton fields in Aleppo. Three excellent ginning companies and nearly half of the ginning factories and more than half of the country's professional textile mills are located here.

The grade of cotton is the same: the grade difference between cotton batches and groups must not exceed 1/2 level.

Uniform fiber length: The difference in length must not exceed 1/16".

Consistent fiber grade: Guaranteed representative cotton.

9, Israel.

Jordan Valley.

As the love cotton series in California, the Pima cotton cultivation area accounts for about 10%, the cashmere length is more than 35mm, and it can spin 80-100 or more high count yarns.
